Julia Levitt Dog Training Classes

Julia no longer teaches dog training classes and does not give private lessons.

She is focusing on her specialized board and train business.

It was amazing to see the immediate transformation in our Rottie after just the first class. It's been such a pleasure being able to take him for a walk without being dragged down the street. Thanks Julia.  Melissa Scott

Steve, Lucy, and I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment of class with you and we so appreciate your advice. Truly, everything you have told us has helped. Queenie is doing "place" like a champ :) I am amazed at how much she already knows at such a young age. Sara Bliss

Ivy and I joined Julia's class because Ivy was having issues relating to dogs she did not know. Julia has helped me gain control over situations that arise with Ivy and skills to help her become my well behaved companion. Thank you Julia.  Georgette Holst

Thanks so much for a great class.  Neil and I both felt that the small class size was perfect and feel your techniques are very useful thus far.  I had also heard from others of classes where they require the dogs/puppies to wear choke chains and was glad that does not seem to be your style. Finn really seems to be responding to the things we learned in the class (some days are better than others but we realize this is a work in progress). We also appreciate your flexibility and willingness to accommodate us into your schedule when the initial class day/time did not work.

We would definitely recommend the class to anyone we know! Thanks again for all of your help.

We were blessed to bring home a 7½ week old Golden Retriever just before Christmas…so we named her Holly. We thought we picked out an even-tempered pup from the litter (not the stoic one and not the hyper one…) Well…we quickly learned that Holly is much more on the hyper end of the spectrum. I’ll spare you the stories and the vet visit details (but I’ll write a book someday…Marley’s got NOTHIN on Holly). And then along came our friend Julia. With ideas and strategies and good coaching. And an even temper with Holly, and even more importantly, with us. We had her to the house for one-on-one training with all in our family, and we enrolled in one of her puppy classes at Ann Arbor Animal Hospital. Both were great experiences. Bottom line: Holly is seven months old. She’s still alive, and so are we. She’s still a very eager and energetic dog, but she’s learning, thanks to Julia. And we’re learning, thanks to Julia. We love our dog, and we love Julia. You will too.

Thank you for an amazing puppy class.  We were very pleased with the results.  You've trained us humans well :)  Gibson doesn't have many dog friends to play with, so it was nice for him to be around other dogs in a safe environment.  We understand he's still young and has a lot of learning to do, however we are confident that he will be a well trained adult dog because of what we've learned from you.  Thank you.
